TRANSFORMING CITIES

Glow Calgary

In 2020, the Calgary Downtown Association tasked us with transforming their annual Festival of Lights into a multi-day event that would bring the city centre to life with unique activations and winter wonder in abundance. We brought creative vision to the table – pitching ambitious art installations by world-renowned performers; as well as logistical experience and accountability – ensuring that our ideas could be executed within budget, on a tight timeline, with support from Calgary’s police and fire departments.

This was truly a “full service” event package, as we rolled out a complete rebrand for the festival, designed and constructed stages tall enough to accommodate emergency vehicles on the road below, provided power and lighting as needed, integrated existing businesses along Stephen Avenue, consulted ice experts, coordinated media coverage, and took care of every detail down to flights and accommodations for travelling artists.
